Questions, answered plainly.

Wrap a soft tape around the wrist just above the bone, snug but not tight, and read the number in centimetres. No tape: use a length of string and lay it against a ruler. Send us that number as it is. Do not add length for comfort; that is our job.

Close adds nothing to your measurement and sits still under a cuff. Standard adds one centimetre and turns slightly with the hand. Relaxed adds two and moves freely. Most first pieces are Standard; most second pieces are Close.

Order without a size. We will write to you before stringing, with a few questions and a photograph of the tape if you want to send one. Nothing is strung until the fit is confirmed.

The cord we use holds its tension for years of daily wear. If it ever loosens, or if your wrist changes, the house restrings it. The first resize is complimentary; restringing of cord and closure is covered for the life of the piece.

Yes. Every bead is natural stone or natural wood, drilled and polished, never dyed or reconstituted. White crackle agate is heat-crackled quartz agate, which is a traditional finish, and we say so on its page.

An alloy finished to read as antique gold or worn silver, engraved and sealed. It is not plated brass and will not flake. We do not use precious metal because we do not want the piece to be about the metal.

Obsidian is volcanic glass, around 5 to 5.5 on the Mohs scale, while onyx, agate and quartz sit near 7. It takes a beautiful polish but it can be scratched by harder beads and knocked against hard edges. Store it alone in its box and it will keep its mirror for decades.

We describe what tradition holds about each stone, and we keep the rituals that came with them. We make no claims beyond that. The pieces are objects for private practice and personal meaning; they are not medical devices and promise no outcome.

Three to seven days from the moment your size is confirmed. Each piece is strung after it is ordered, rests one night beside selenite, and is sealed the following morning. Most leave on the fourth day.

Before it leaves the house, every piece is placed in its closed box beside a selenite wand for one night and sealed at first light. It is a tradition we keep, at no charge, for every object. You will receive the box with the seal unbroken.

Every piece carries an atelier number. On the morning it is sealed, that number, your wrist size and the date are written into the house ledger by hand. When you write to us later about resizing or restringing, the number is all we need.

Yes, with a size for each wrist. Pieces for the same order are strung together and dispatched in one box, each with its own number and card. Numbered pieces are limited to the material in hand; when a batch is gone, the number retires.

Worldwide, tracked, in the same unmarked box. You receive a tracking number the day the piece leaves the house.

After the 3 to 7 day preparation: Asia 3 to 6 business days, Europe 4 to 8, the Americas 5 to 10. Remote addresses can take a few days longer. The tracking page shows the live estimate.

Shipping is included in the price. Import duties and local taxes, where they apply, are set by your country and collected by the carrier on delivery. We declare the true value and describe the contents plainly.

Yes. Give the address at checkout, and if it is a hotel, add the guest name and arrival date in the note. We will time the dispatch so the box does not arrive before you do.

Thirty days from delivery. If it does not feel right in the hand, write to us, and we send a label. The piece should come back in its box, unworn beyond trying on. Refunds are issued within seven business days of inspection.

Send it back with your atelier number and we resize it once, complimentary, in either direction. The piece returns to you in about a week. After that, resizing is a small charge for any change in bead count.

The cord and the closure, for as long as the piece exists. If the cord wears, loosens or breaks, send the piece back and the house restrings it at no charge. Lost or broken beads are replaced from the same material where we still hold it, at cost.

Within the thirty days, yes. Tell us which piece and which size, and we string the new one while the first is on its way back. Any difference in price is settled either way.

Order without a size. We string to a Standard fit for their build, and the card inside tells the recipient that one complimentary resize is waiting. Most people are within a centimetre of the ranges in our sizing guide.

Yes. Write the message in the note at checkout, up to about sixty words, and we copy it by hand onto the house card. We do not print. If you prefer, leave it blank and sign it yourself when it arrives.

Stone choice within the house palette, bead size, an engraved barrel, and length for long strands. We do not make in colours outside the palette or add names to the outside of anything. Bespoke pieces take three to four weeks and are numbered like the rest.

We send a written proposal with a fixed price before anything is made. A deposit of half confirms the commission; the balance is settled before dispatch. There is no charge for the proposal itself.
