This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use ordanne.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

What we collect and why
- Order and contact data: your name, email address, shipping address, wrist measurement and order history. We need these to make your piece, deliver it, keep the atelier record under its number, and provide resizing and restringing for the life of the piece. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Payment data: card payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of the card; we never see or store the full card number. Stripe processes your card data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
- Correspondence: emails you send to [email protected], including photographs of your wrist or piece, kept so we can answer you and honour our guarantees. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in customer service.
- Private circle email: if you join our mailing list we keep your email address and send at most one note a month. You can leave at any time using the link in every email or by writing to us. Legal basis: consent.
- Site usage: strictly necessary cookies keep your cart and language, and Stripe sets fraud-prevention cookies at checkout. Analytics (PostHog) runs only if you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner, and you can decline or withdraw at any time.
- Server logs: our hosting and Cloudflare record IP addresses and request data for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe for payments.
- Courier companies for delivery: name, address, phone number where required by the courier, and the customs declaration.
- Resend for transactional and, with your consent, circle emails.
- Cloudflare for the network that serves the site and routes our email.
- PostHog for analytics, only with your consent.
- Our own servers, where the store backend and the atelier record are kept.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
International transfers
We serve customers worldwide, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and China. Where the law requires it we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards with our providers.
How long we keep it
- Order records, including the atelier record under your piece's number: for as long as the piece is in service and as required for tax and accounting, normally 7 years after the order.
- Correspondence: 3 years after the last message.
- Circle email address: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: 12 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any right, write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days and never charge for a first request.
Children
The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
Personal data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay if a breach affects your data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the current version is shown below, and material changes are announced on the site.
