Gifting
A gift that says nothing on the outside.
Three occasions we are asked for most. An unmarked box, a card in our hand or yours, and an answer for when you do not know their size.

The signing gift
For the day something is closed. A Command piece, tiger eye and old gold, for the hand that signs last. Given the evening before, or the morning of.
The promotion
For the person who has just been handed a bigger room. A Guard piece, the keeper's stones, worn under the cuff from the first day in the new chair.
The quiet thank-you
For the one who taught you how the room works, and would be embarrassed by a speech. A Composure or Continuity piece, with a card of a single line.
The box
Black, matte, unmarked
Every piece arrives in the same box, sealed the morning it left the house. Nothing on the outside. Inside: the piece, a card with its atelier number and size, and a short note on wearing it. There is no gift wrapping because the box is the wrapping.
The outer carton is plain too. If the gift is being sent directly, no invoice goes in the box.
The card
In our hand, or yours
Write your message in the note at checkout, up to about sixty words, and we copy it by hand onto the house card in ink. We do not print. Or leave it blank, and sign it yourself when the box arrives. One line is usually enough.
Size
You do not know their size. That is fine.
Order without a size. Tell us their build, whether they wear a watch, and whether the piece should sit under a cuff. We string to a Standard fit for that build, and the card tells the recipient that one complimentary resize is waiting. Most people never need it; the ones who do send it back with the number and have it home in a week.
Choose the piece.
Composure and Guard forgive a centimetre. Save the tiger eye for a hand you have seen sign.
