These Terms of Service govern your use of ordanne.com and every purchase made through it. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

ordanne.com is operated by Cogniva Technology LLC, a limited liability company, trading under the brand name Ordanne. References to "we", "us", "the house" or "the atelier" mean Cogniva Technology LLC.

Products
- Every piece is a bracelet or strand of natural stone and wood, strung by hand to order. Natural material varies: colour, banding and inclusions differ from piece to piece and from the photographs on the site.
- Each product page states the materials, bead size, wrist range, closure, packaging, SKU and atelier number of the piece.
- Numbered pieces are made while the batch of stone lasts. When a batch is finished the number retires and the piece is withdrawn from sale.
- Stone meanings on this site are presented as tradition and personal practice. Our pieces are not medical devices; they are sold for personal meaning and adornment only. Nothing on this site is health, financial or professional advice.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and include shipping to any destination. They do not include import duties or local taxes, which are collected by the courier on delivery.
- We may change prices at any time. The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers. Where card payment is temporarily unavailable, we may accept your order and send a private payment link; the order is confirmed when payment is received.
- If a price is displayed in error we will tell you before stringing and offer to proceed at the correct price or cancel with a full refund.
Orders
- An order is placed when you complete checkout, and accepted when we email you a confirmation. We may decline an order, for example where we cannot verify payment, cannot ship to the address, or the stone is no longer available; any payment taken is refunded in full.
- Pieces are made to the wrist measurement you give us. If you order without a measurement we confirm it with you before stringing. Processing takes 3 to 7 business days; bespoke work takes 3 to 4 weeks.
- You may cancel free of charge at any time before stringing begins.
Shipping, returns and refunds
Shipping, returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Shipping Policy and our Return and Refund Policy, which form part of these terms. In short: worldwide tracked delivery is included in the price, standard pieces may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to the original payment method, and bespoke or engraved pieces cannot be returned but can be resized.
Lifetime restringing
Cord and closure of any piece bought from us are restrung by the atelier for as long as you own it, at no charge for the work. Details are in our repair guide.
Your account and conduct
- You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
- You agree to give accurate contact, address and measurement details and to keep them up to date.
- You may not use the site unlawfully, interfere with its operation, or copy its content for commercial use.
Intellectual property
The Ordanne name, the 定章 characters, the seal motif, piece names, photographs and text on this site belong to Cogniva Technology LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce them without written permission, except to share a link to the site.
Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
- Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including customs holds and courier disruption; where they occur we will tell you and offer a refund if the delay is unreasonable.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. It forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it. The date of the current version is shown below.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have in your country of residence. If a dispute arises, please write to us first; most matters are settled by email within a few days.
