Black & grey
The house palette.
Obsidian, onyx, spinel, hematite, smoke. Seven blacks, and the greys between them.

Black is where the house begins. Dark glass stone was polished into mirrors by old courts to see what was really in the room, and it is still the ground of almost everything we make. Within it there are at least seven blacks: the mirror black of obsidian, the dense black of onyx, the metallic grey-black of hematite. These pieces go with everything because they compete with nothing.
