A cube of tiger eye sits among the round beads like a seal among coins: the one square thing in the circle. Around it, black obsidian keeps the ground dark and a single grey moonstone holds a cooler light. Nothing in the piece is loud; everything in it is placed.
It belongs to Command, the collection of momentum. The old belief is that tiger eye draws fortune and keeps it, and that a cool stone beside it keeps the wearer from moving too soon. Merchants on the long roads chose it for the same reason sailors chose the northern star: not for speed, but for a bearing that does not drift.
It is the piece we make for the person who sets the direction others follow. Worn on the writing hand, it is the last thing seen before a decision is put into words.

What if I don't know my wrist size?
Order without a size. We write to you before stringing with a two-minute way to measure, and we hold the piece until you reply.
Can I wash my hands with it on?
Yes, briefly. Take it off for showers, swimming and sleep; wood and porous stones prefer to stay dry.
What happens if the cord wears?
Send it back. The house restrings cord and closure for life; a restring takes seven to ten days.
Is it a good gift if I don't know their size?
Yes. Choose Standard fit and the middle of the range, and add a note. One complimentary resize is included, and the record card explains it.
